The Newborn Baby Gift Set includes a NINA muslin and a kimono.
An irresistible combination from the NINA collections - choose from a colourful, intricately designed muslin and a super soft kimono made from organic Peruvian Pima cotton.
Simply let us know at the checkout which muslin design you would like and which colour kimono you would like (add to the gift note text box!).
These two items are ideal for a newborn baby. The muslin is surely the item most in-demand by a new parent, whilst the kimono is the baby's first layer (so soft against their delicate skin).
Plus timeless and practical designs mean they'll be used as long as possible and make the perfect hand-me-downs!
The items are wrapped in tissue paper and popped in a high-quality NINA gift box, along with a handwritten note. Simply add your personal gift note at checkout and your friend will receive it handwritten on a card (extra special!).
Any specific gift requests, email Emily & Oli at hello@ninababy.co.uk.
Sustainability
Our baby clothes are made from 100% Peruvian Pima cotton, grown in cotton fields on the coast of Peru, with the Pacific Ocean roaring nearby and pelicans flying above.
The clothes are made by Patricia and her brilliant team in Lima. We have visited the family-run factory many times and are proud to work with such a great partner who shares our goals for sustainability and ethics. Not only do they actively promote organic cotton but they provide free breakfasts for children in Peru's poorest province of Cajamarca.
All our baby clothes are 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. You’re making a good choice choosing organic. It’s better for the environment since only natural processes are used to grow the cotton (ladybirds help to control pests rather than pesticides!). No harmful chemicals (from pesticides or fertilizers) seep into waterways or degrade the soil. And less water is used compared to regular cotton (which makes up 99% of cotton clothes available on the high street).
The GOTS certification also covers social standards like decent working hours and no child labour (shockingly an issue in lots of cotton-growing areas around the world).
While baby clothes feel worlds away from cotton farmers’ fields, by choosing organic cotton you are helping to create a better environment for people and planet.
