Scottish artist Kirsty Fenton was taken away by the bold colours of Barcelona, where she currently lives. As a minimal artist, colour and form is exceptionally important within her work.
"Minimal art is fascinating in that it is so simple but can be so challenging to achieve. Every movement of the brushstroke counts. So when they come together well, it is very satisfying."
Kirsty has created two striking designs for NINA's first blanket collection - 'Clementines' & 'Japanese Flowers'. As a new mother she loves the idea of her baby "being wrapped up in these wonderful, strong and bold colours".
