A parenting essential, our large muslins elevate the everyday with their unique designs. Created by your favourite artists, they are filled with creativity, inspiration and stories.
They are extra large baby muslins, at 110cm x 110cm, meaning extra versatile. Whether it’s for swaddling, mopping up spills, breastfeeding or even acting as a sunshade… having a NINA muslin blanket nearby will ensure you’re ready for every moment.
You’ll immediately notice how soft and light our muslin blankets are. They are made in India from 100% organic cotton, with dyes that are Oeko-Tex certified, so are safe for delicate skin.
Machine wash low and tumble dry low, though if you can hang the muslin blankets out to dry that would be best.
About the design
Designed by Kirsty Fenton
"I have always admired Japanese art with its simplicity and elegance. My most recent collection, 'In Full Bloom', has definitely been inspired by this style of painting. The style of using only a couple of brushstrokes to represent the flowers really captivated me creatively and aesthetically...
I have found minimal art fascinating in the way that it is so simple yet can be challenging at times to achieve. Every movement of the brushstroke counts, so when they come together well it is very satisfying. "
These muslins are extra large, you'll notice the difference!
At 110cm x 110cm in size, they are extra large muslins meaning extra useful.
A parenting essential, ideal for swaddling, mopping up spills, breastfeeding, a little extra warmth in the buggy, or even acting as a sunshade.
Our large muslins are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton by Chaitanya and his team in Northern India. All dyes are Oeko-Tex certified so have been tested to be safe and free from harmful chemicals.
By choosing organic cotton you’re making a good choice all round. It’s better for the environment since only natural processes are used to grow the cotton (e.g. ladybirds help to control pests rather than pesticides). No harmful chemicals (from pesticides or fertilizers) seep into waterways or degrade the soil. And less water is used compared to conventional cotton.
The GOTS certification also covers social standards like decent working hours and no child labour (which has shockingly been an issue in lots of cotton-growing areas around the world).
While a muslin blanket feels a world away from farmers’ fields, by choosing organic cotton you are helping to create a healthier environment for all those who make our products and for our future planet.
