Designed by up-and-coming artists, NINA muslins are full of creativity, inspiration, and stories. They're works of art in muslin form! And limited edition too. Only 100 will ever be made in each design.
A parenting essential, ideal for swaddling, mopping up spills, breastfeeding, a little extra warmth in the buggy, or even acting as a sunshade. At 110cm x 110cm in size, they are extra large muslins meaning extra useful.
You’ll immediately notice how soft and light our muslin blankets are. They are made in India from 100% organic cotton, with dyes that are Oeko-Tex certified, so are safe for delicate, newborn skin.
Perfect as a unique gift for new parents. For an extra something special, order a gift box too and we'll wrap it really nicely with a handwritten note, ready to send to your friend/family/colleague/neighbour/anyone with great taste.
Machine wash low and tumble dry low (if you can hang the muslin blankets out to dry that's always best).
About the design
Designed by Jo Faulkner
"The design for the blanket was inspired by the night sky and the beauty of the stories and fables of astrology. I was aiming to capture an innocence and naivety to the paintings, with a placement of the motifs which replicated constellations in the sky...
I liked the idea that you could cover your child in the blanket and be wrapping them up in all this magic. "
These muslins are extra large, you'll notice the difference!

Our large muslins are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton by Chaitanya and his team in Northern India. All dyes are Oeko-Tex certified so have been tested to be safe and free from harmful chemicals.
By choosing organic cotton you’re making a good choice all round. It’s better for the environment since only natural processes are used to grow the cotton (e.g. ladybirds help to control pests rather than pesticides). No harmful chemicals (from pesticides or fertilizers) seep into waterways or degrade the soil. And less water is used compared to conventional cotton.
The GOTS certification also covers social standards like decent working hours and no child labour (which has shockingly been an issue in lots of cotton-growing areas around the world).
While a muslin blanket feels a world away from farmers’ fields, by choosing organic cotton you are helping to create a healthier environment for all those who make our products and for our future planet.
