A muslin designed to be displayed, not just used.
Each design is created exclusively for NINA by an independent artist, then woven into certified organic cotton muslin. This muslin fabric is exceptionally breathable, grows softer with every wash, and is gentle enough to use from day one. The muslins are large enough to swaddle your baby, light enough to use as a pram shade, and beautiful enough to drape over a nursing chair. Because every muslin design is created by an artist, no two collections that we release are identical. Only on a few occasions will we produce the design again. Which means that when a print is gone, it’s gone.
Machine wash low and tumble dry low (if you can hang the muslin blankets out to dry that's always best).

About the design
Created by artist Kirsty Fenton, Clementines is a fresh and joyful print full of sunshine and sweetness.
Her design features little clusters of juicy orange clementines and bright green leaves.
The hand-painted style gives the print a soft, playful feel, while the fruity pattern brings a sense of warmth, freshness and light.

"As a Scottish artist based in Barcelona I was taken away by the bold colours of this Mediterranean city and the incredible natural sunlight which extends all year round. Being a minimal artist, colour and form is exceptionally important within my work and this city has been the main inspiration behind it."

These muslins are extra large, you'll notice the difference!
At 110cm x 110cm in size, they are extra large muslins meaning extra useful.
A parenting essential, ideal for swaddling, mopping up spills, breastfeeding, a little extra warmth in the buggy, or even acting as a sunshade.
Our large muslins are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton by Chaitanya and his team in Northern India. All dyes are Oeko-Tex certified so have been tested to be safe and free from harmful chemicals.
By choosing organic cotton you’re making a good choice all round. It’s better for the environment since only natural processes are used to grow the cotton (e.g. ladybirds help to control pests rather than pesticides). No harmful chemicals (from pesticides or fertilizers) seep into waterways or degrade the soil. And less water is used compared to conventional cotton.
The GOTS certification also covers social standards like decent working hours and no child labour (which has shockingly been an issue in lots of cotton-growing areas around the world).
While a muslin blanket feels a world away from farmers’ fields, by choosing organic cotton you are helping to create a healthier environment for all those who make our products and for our future planet.

Wash at 40 degrees, or cooler if you can. We recommend not tumble drying. Let it hang free and dry this way instead.
