We're very happy to share the latest NINA muslin collection with you!

This collection brings you fresh geraniums from artist Sophie Harpley who, if you’ve been following her lately, has been up to brilliant things for the likes of jewellery designer Alex Monroe, featured in House and Garden and many others. Geraniums was originally a wallpaper design – you can also buy lampshades in the same design. We love that this is a design that started with nothing to do with babies or muslins at all. It’s simply a really lovely print that interior designers are including in their lookbooks. It’s a print that parents would be very happy to have on display in a coffee shop, or strewn across the sofa at home.

Up next is Kirsty Fenton. A long-time collaborator of ours, we’ve loved Kirsty’s work since pandemic times. Her clementines muslin is now restocked and we’re excited to bring you a new design of hers – emerald leaves. There’s something about this colour as we transition into autumn. And something more special about this given that Kirsty is expecting another addition to her family – the leaves represent growth and nurturing, how a family is made up of unique individuals and comes together to create something even more beautiful.

Thrilled to then introduce you to some new female artists too who we’ve collaborated with for the first time for this collection. We’ve got sea creatures from artist Maude Smith. Little lobsters, crabs, seaweed, each bringing its own charming personality to a muslin! The number of times Finn says to us ‘beach’, was a big hint that this design would appeal to so many other babies with their natural curiosity and their parents with nostalgic seaside memories.

Then there’s Imo Sinclair. Her playful and fun ‘Bauhaus Play’ design packs a punch with its geometric shapes and primary colours. It reminds us a little of a previous design – ‘Matisse Inspired’ by Amelia Heron – that so many customers loved for how bold and colourful it was.

Beyond female artists of today, we couldn’t resist digging into the V&A Archives again to find some traditional and timeless prints. This collection brings you Alice in Wonderland and Apothecary’s Garden by C F A Voysey. Again (note the emerging theme), prints that you’ve probably seen elsewhere, but less so in the baby world.

And then there are the muslin designs we’re bringing back – BEGIN by Natalia Bagniewska, Whimsical Tigers by Berry Aktuglu, Lioness Amongst The Palms from the V&A, and Clementines by Kirsty Fenton as mentioned already. Thank you to everyone who sent us through a product notification request or an email along the lines of “just wondering if you’re restocking x design”. We haven’t been able to restock all the designs you’re after this time round, but very happy to have these favourites back!

Here's the honest bit: these muslins have been a long time coming. We shot some photography back in October 2024 and then, well, life happened. Between managing production timelines, navigating numerous sleep regressions with Finn, and honestly just the mental load of getting back into the day job after maternity leave, we had to pace ourselves. We also took a leap on a new muslin supplier in India, one that's been much easier to work with overall, but the sample stage is relentless especially with a new supplier who you’re starting from ground zero with. You iterate, you wait, you tweak, and then you're holding your breath before you commit to the full production run.

Thank you to all our customers who, during this period, have come back to us time and time again whenever a new baby appears in your world and you need to send a gift. And to our customers who are parents themselves who want something a little extra special and keep coming back to buy the next size up of our onesies or kimonos. We genuinely mean it when we write your notecards that we love seeing your names pop up again and again. As a small brand, this is something we really notice and keeps pushing us forward to explore new artist collaborations and shape up new collections, like this one.
