The softest baby clothes start with a special kind of cotton
Hello! Lovely to meet you. We’re Oli and Emily.
We started NINA a few years ago - romantic beginnings on the Pacific coast of Peru where we’d discovered the world of cotton and what goes into making clothes (fun fact - did you know there are over 40 types of cotton, most with shorter fibre lengths and therefore lower quality?).
There aren't enough baby clothes out there made from organic Peruvian Pima cotton. It’s the softest, highest quality, and most sustainable cotton around. This is why we started NINA.
The muslin collection came a little later, as we wondered why artist collaborations aren't really done in the baby world. And after seeing so many muslins in the shops that are, quite frankly, not something that would appeal to us as new parents (think generic, traditional baby designs picked from a manufacturer's catalogue).
It's all about making products that feel and look beautiful, whilst also celebrating the makers and designers behind them.
